Contest Regulations "I have the right to dignity!"

The national competition "I have the right to dignity!" is an initiative launched by the Development and Psychotherapy through Action Association within the project "Step by step ,growing with dignity!", implemented between 01.01.2022 – 31.12.2023, by the Development and Psychotherapy through Action Association in partnership with Moreno Huset AS from Norway within the program "Local development, poverty reduction and increased inclusion of Roma"

Through the competition, children will learn about their rights, thus being stimulated to get more involved in civic activities, all the more so as the bus will carry their creations around the country.

The contest will take place between November 1, 2022 and March 10, 2023, the entry of the participants in the contest being until February 28. Students from the middle school and high school can participate in it.

There will be two categories in the contest:

• Category I – classes V-VIII

• Category II – Classes IX – XII

Each participant in the contest will explore the 54 articles of children`s rights found on the project website ( https://crescdemn.ro/page.php?id=14 ) and will design a minimum of one slogan and a maximum of 5, through which to express what he understands after reading them. We will award extra points for creativity, expressiveness, originality. Slogans will be entered in the contest in the form of images (drawings, digital graphics, photos, etc.).

What is a slogan?

A slogan is a formulation, a short, meaningful, conclusive sentence that eloquently and obviously expresses the social goals of some groups, organizations, etc. or a current issue. It will have an attractive sound and will aim to promote one or more of the child`s rights.

The best creations chosen by the jury will be printed and later stuck on the Dignity Bus.

The judging team will consist of:

• 2 members of the Development and Psychotherapy by Action Association

• 1 member of the Dolj County Police Inspectorate

• 1 member of the Dolj Bar Association

• 1 member of the Craiova Juvenile Detention Center

• November 1 2022 – February 28 2023 - Entry of participants in the contest

• March 1 – March 9 2023 - Judging

• March 10 2023 - Announcement of winners
